Team News
Under 13 team beat Lavey in the semi final of their championship last Saturday. This team has been very successful so far as most of the players were on the Under 12 team that won the summer league in September. The final is due to be played this weekend in Breffini Park, date& time to be confirm. Please come along and support them.
Our senior team are due to play Cornafean on Sunday next in the promotion play off. The winning team will be promoted to Division 2 next year.

All Ireland Table Quiz
Our annual all Ireland table quiz will take place this Sunday at 5 pm in the Hotel Kilmore, team of 4 costs 50 euro to enter. There is a total cash prizes fund of 1,000 euro to be won. Please arrive early to register your team. Also if you would like to sponsor a question and advertise your business on the big day, the cost is 10 euro per question; please contact Gary mc Entree and his committee.
Fr Aiden Foynes
Butlersbridge GFC would like to congratulate our Club President, Msgr Aiden Foynes, who has recently been awarded the 2014 Father Luis de Cancer Distinguished Priestly service award. This award is given annually to a priest in the diocese of St Petersburg who best exemplifies selfless and dedicated service. The recipient is nominated and selected by a committee of his peers. Fr Aiden, now retired in Clearwater, Florida, played at all levels for the club in the 1950s and 60s.
